The idea is to navigate the driver on a special route. This could be done for any of the following reasons:
The idea in the end is to ensure every delivery arrives on time and without any problems along the way. It allows the company to override the default navigation provided by navigation apps.
This would be extremely useful. Can drag and save route but doesn't save into order or go to driver's GPS map. Would save a lot of headaches and "butt chewing" from road commissioners! Is this still being addressed?
I just brought this issue up yesterday to Five Cubits and am glad its been brought up here but concerned it happened 2 years ago ? and is still an issue.
Is this being worked on currently ?
same in the DFW texas market, no tolls, no highways, no truck zones etc.
this would be a huge capability.
This is critical in our market around the Cambridge Mass area, where our trucks are only allowed on certain streets. Not only should dispatch be able to create the specific route to the job, which WILL differ from Google nav, but dispatch should also get an alert if any driver ticketed to that job deviates from the specified route.
