There needs to be a way to alert drivers and dispatchers that a driver is nearing their maximum hours allowed in real time. This could be sent through the TrackIt dashboard, email or text. This would allow dispatchers to get the drivers out of service ASAP.
If you go to Settings - Status - Status Timer - you can create an alert to pop up at a certain amount of time. We set ours for an alert at the 11th hour, our drivers can drive 14 hours, we would like to get them out before then so we chose 11 hours for us to have time to decide whether to load or make arrangements (worst case scenario) so in the timer we named it 11 Hr notification, set it to 660 minutes on the duration. Add Clock in status, on enter start timer. Add Clock out status, stop timer. When the driver has been clocked in for 11 hours (or whatever you want to do for your company) It will put an alert and message by the driver on track it. if you click on the Timer notifications tab, you can select if you only want it to show on the track it map and/or notify the driver as well.
