Ticket List Report

Create a report that would list tickets for a vehicle over a span of multiple dates.
This report should allow the following selection parameters:

  • Date from & Date To (Range) - This would allow the user to pull the report for weeks / months worth of data. These field should be mandatory.

  • Equipment - This should allow selection of a single vehicle or multiple. Using the existing functionality in some of the reports a drop down menu where the options of "All" & "None" would be beneficial. Depending on performance, this field should most likely be mandatory

  • Ticket Type - This should allow the user to filter by which type of ticket they would like to see. In HM UK, we have ticket types "Home Run", "Return Run" & "Delivery". Again this should allow single or multiple values to be selected with the option to select "All" or "None"

Those are generally the only search parameters that would be applicable for HM UK. However, to create additional benefit for other customers / countries it may also be useful to add:

  • Employee - This should allow single or multiple selections, with the options of "All" & "None".

  • Job - This should allow single or multiple selections, with the options of "All" & "None".

Once the user has chosen their respective search parameters they then should have the options: "View Report", "Download Report" & "Export Report".

Within the report the report should list, in a table output, the following table headers

  • Ticket Number

  • Ticket Type

  • Runsheet Number

  • Job

  • Employee

  • Equipment / Vehicle ID

  • Date

  • Ticket Status

The basis for this idea is to allow us (HM UK) to be able to report on BYOD / Personal device usage, but also we would receive benefits for additional reasons like reporting on "Paperless" tickets, vehicle utilisation & TrackIt overall usage.

As this report would allow us to select the relevant vehicles and applying a date range, we could see how many deliveries have been completed via vehicles using BYOD or whether a vehicle that should be using BYOD has not been using it.
