Currently messages for specific trucks have to be manually sent via TrackIT. There are several conditions within related systems like JWS and Oracle eBusiness Suite where we'd like to form an alert based on the external system and send it via TrackIT to the tablet in their truck. Examples: (1) Request a vehicle to tare, (2) alert driver that the Carrier's insurance is nearing expiration, (3) after breaking a geofence at a location, remind driver what they were there to get last trip to that location -- if no change, continue and get loaded, if not, interact with scaleclerk or AutoID system to change the order/project they're hauling for. The core of this would be an API someplace waiting for at least an IMEI or TruckID and message text.
